Aberdeen Announces July 2026 Fund Distributions

Aberdeen Investments has announced that several of its U.S. Closed-End Funds will pay out distributions to shareholders on July 31, 2026. If you own shares as of July 23, you're in line to receive these payments. The funds include the likes of abrdn Income Credit Strategies Fund and abrdn Global Dynamic Dividend Fund, among others. The distributions come from a mix of current income, capital gains, and, in some cases, return of capital. What does it mean for you? If you're a shareholder, it's payday time at the end of July. Keep an eye on your mailbox or inbox for your Form 1099-DIV after year-end, as this will explain your tax obligations. Remember, these payouts don't necessarily reflect the funds' performance, so don't plan that luxury vacation just yet.
