PowerX Fuels Montenegro's Green Energy Revolution
PowerX, a Japanese energy storage company, has teamed up with Montenegro's national utility, EPCG, to work on battery energy storage systems. They've signed a Memorandum of Understanding aiming to add about 500 MWh of battery capacity over three years to help Montenegro reach its renewable energy goals and modernize its power grid. If you're in Montenegro, this means a more stable power supply and a push towards cleaner energy. For everyone else, it's a sign that battery energy storage is becoming a key player in the global shift to renewables.
